Introduction

Envisioned to be the gold standard for web3 automation, the Automation Hub has emerged as a pivotal component of the Turing Network. Its introduction marks a significant milestone in our quest to streamline our blockchain operations. The surge in user engagement underscores the Hub’s effectiveness and the growing interest in our innovative Dapp-centric automation solutions.

Analyzing the Surge: A Data-Driven Perspective

The impact of the Automation Hub is reflected in the data concerning daily automation task volume. Since the Hub’s inception, we’ve observed a doubling in task volume, indicating not just increased network usage but a broader acceptance and integration of our automation capabilities. This trend is a testament to the Hub’s utility and the Turing Network’s robust infrastructure, catering to the evolving needs of Dapp builders and investors alike.

The charts below display three distinct data types significantly impacted by the Automation Hub Launch: Tasks Executed, XCMP Messages, and a Cumulative Wallet Count. Each provides unique insights. Together, they give us a comprehensive understanding of the effects. The derived conclusions are elaborated in the accompanying text.

The surge in daily automation task volume illustrates a heightened network activity, underscoring the efficacy of the Automation Hub.
The nearly 400% increase in the number of xcmp messages sent is equally noteworthy. The cross-chain interaction of the Turing Network as a result of the Automation Hub showcases its performance as an interoperable modular blockchain.
The significant increase in account creation is a telling sign of the excitement surrounding the Automation Hub Launch. This surge suggests that new users are eager to explore and experience the innovative Dapps built on our networks.

A Developer’s Insight

To gain a deeper understanding of how this information relates to Dapp builders we caught up with one of our full-stack engineers who played a pivotal role in bringing the automation hub to life.

Q: What do you think are the major factors for the 2x increase in transaction and non-asset xcmp data?

One thing that may be because when we launched the dashboard that could be the time when users can now schedule XCMP tasks, let’s say from Turing to Moonriver. Before users could only use a JS wallet to execute these complex actions, when we added the automation hub, it became easier for users to schedule tasks.

Q: What does the increasing numbers from the data mean to Dapp developers?

It means more opportunities for them, to have real users, more than just holders. If you think of a meme coin it’s just a hold-type asset with no utility. For example, our token has a real use case, so an increase in the user base being represented is big for Dapp developers.

Think, if you build the Dapp and no one uses it that’s a problem, so the larger user base, the market will be bigger.

Implications for the Future

The data not only signifies our network’s dynamic growth but also paints a promising picture for the future. As the Turing Network continues to evolve, the increase in user engagement and network activity points towards a burgeoning demand for our services. This is an opportune moment for investors and Dapp builders to leverage our blockchain usage data, securing a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Stay tuned for more as we work on redefining the future of blockchain automation.
